McKamey is a longtime resident of Washakie County and an advocate of the sugar industry and agriculture in Wyoming. He is co-owner of a farming operation in Worland and continues his involvement in economic development activities in the area.Mr. McKamey is currently Chairman of the Board of Managers of Wyoming Sugar Company (WSC). McKamey led the formation, operation, and direction of WSC from 2001 thru 2016. During his tenure as CEO, WSC has made significant investments in the Worland facility while building a sound financial foundation.Prior to the ownership of the Worland facility by WSC, McKamey was President of the Washakie Beet Growers Association and a Director of the American Sugarbeet Growers Association. He has served as a leader in many local and national organizations.McKamey and his wife Liisa are both graduates of Oregon State University. They have three children; Jeremy, Jana, and Jordan.
Tom Clark was born and raised on the family farm in Worland, WY. In 1973, after attending the University of Wyoming for one year he started farming full time with his father and brother. He has been farming sugar beets for 45 years. Along with farming, he and his brother background cattle in the winter in their 3,000 head feedlot.Tom served as a director for the Washakie Beet Growers Association for 15 years and now serves on the Board of Directors for Wyoming Sugar Co. for the last 3 years. He served as a director for the Big Horn Coop Marketing Association and presently serves as a director for the Lower Hanover Canal Association. He also is a religious education teacher for Middle School youth at his Church. Tom and his wife have 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren.
Dan Pince is a 3rd generation farmer in Fremont County, WY. Dan farms with his brother and nephew, on the farm started by their grandfather.Dan earned a degree in Computer Science from Casper College. Along with serving and the Wyoming Sugar Board, he has served as Chairman for the Fremont County 6 School Board for 10 years.
Landis Benson, a life-long resident of Wyoming, is the President of Hake Realty, a northern Wyoming Real Estate Brokerage Company where he has been the Responsible Broker since 1989. He has been with Hake Realty since 1978 where prior to becoming Responsible Broker and President he was a broker and sales agent. Mr. Benson has served the Wyoming Association of REALTORS in many capacities over the years including serving as President in 2016.Mr. Benson served as a Board member of the Wyoming Community Development Authority from 1995 to 2002 and was Chairman of the Board from 1997 to 1999. He is a former Board member of the Stockgrowers State Bank and later served on the advisory board of American National Bank in Worland. In addition, Mr. Benson served as a founding Board member of the Wyoming Sugar Company board of managers and currently serves as Secretary of the Board.
Mr. Bostrom is the President, Bostrom Enterprises, LLC. Earned the BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming. Past Chair of the Wyoming Business Alliance/Wyoming Heritage Foundation; former governor of Rotary District 5440; Current Member and past President of the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees. Former Member of the Washakie Economic Council, Big Horn Basin Marketing Council, and the Industrial Development Committee of the Worland Chamber of Commerce. Formerly married to Jeri Bostrom (deceased); children Brian Kelley, Paul Kelley, and Preston Bostrom.
Bryce Vigil is a 4th generation farmer from Manderson, Wy. His family has farmed the area for over 100 years. Bryce currently is a partner in Michael Vigil Farms Inc. and has been for the past 10 years. They raise multiple crops, have a feed yard, and run a cow calf operation. Along with the Wyoming Sugar Board, Bryce has also served on the Farm Credit Services Nominating Board as well as the Nowood Water Improvement District.
Darrell’s family has been farming in the United States for more than 100 years, with about 85 years in their current location. Darrell farms with his two brothers just west of Basin, Wyoming, raising corn silage, malt barley, alfalfa and sugarbeets on 2,100 acres, as well as feed cattle. Darrell and his wife, Donna, have five children and four grandchildren. He is a past Vice President of the Washakie Beet Growers Association and currently serves as a member on the Board of Managers at the Wyoming Sugar Company. Darrell has been on the ASGA Board of Directors since 2014 and is currently serving on several committees (Finance, Bylaws and Meetings).
John and his wife Janet have been farming in Worland since 1981 as a partner in Sage Creek Land and Cattle Co. He currently serves as President. A fourth-generation farmer, he raises sugarbeets, malt barley, corn and alfalfa hay.He and Janet have two sons—Jason and his wife Kaylan, and daughters Abigail and Eliza of Lewisville TX, and Steve and his wife Jamie, and daughter Sophia of Worland.John has served as President of the American Sugarbeet Growers Association, President of the Washakie Beet Growers Association, President of Washakie County Farm Bureau, President of Worland Area Chamber of Commerce, Washakie Development Association, Washakie Co Planning Commission, Washakie County Solid Waste Board, President of the Worland Football Fanatics, and was a member of Wyoming LEAD Class III.Currently he serves as a board member of the American Sugarbeet Growers Association (serving on the Executive, Biotechnology and Research, and Political Action Committees), Mexico Task Force for Sugar, Treasurer of the Upper Bluff Irrigation District, President of the Worland Bench Drainage District, ANB Bank Advisory Board, and President of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Consistory.
Vance Lungren Jr. is a 4th generation farmer here in Worland, WY. His great grandfather worked as sugar beet labor in the fields and factories before he was able to secure some land in Worland, WY, and began working his own land. Vance now farms with his grandfather, father, and brother.Vance went to college at the University of Wyoming, earning an Ag. Business Degree. Vance has served on; Farm Credit Nominating Committee, Washakie County Watershed Steering Committee, and Zion Lutheran Church Consistory.
