Wyoming Sugar Company, is a Wyoming Processing Cooperative owned by growers from Washakie, Big Horn and Fremont Counties. We are a single factory facility located in Worland, Washakie County, Wyoming that has processed sugar beets for the Southern Big Horn Basin and Fremont County for over 100 years.
Some of our current Grower-Owner families have grown sugar beets for the factory five generations. Our growers have continued to demonstrate their commitment to keep the sugar beet industry in Wyoming through their continuous investment in Wyoming Sugar Company. The fact that sugar beets have been and will continue to be an integral part of the local economy and way of life makes everyone in this area of Wyoming proud.
Now Hiring for Harvest!
Harvest has begun at Wyoming Sugar Company! Harvest will last until early November. We have locations in Basin, Riverton, Midvale, and Worland. These positions include Piler Operators, Ground Crew, & Tare Sampling.
At the same time and until February, our Campaign takes place. This is the time we are processing the beautiful sugarbeets into granulated sugar. These positions are situated at our Worland Factory and include general laborers, mechanics, welders, electricians, heavy equipment operators, and more!
